About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Generalist to join our team at Steris Canada Corporation. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing HR consultation, generalist, and recruiting support across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Providing HR advice and guidance to managers, fostering positive employee relations, recruiting candidates, performance management, compensation and benefits leadership training, and other HR projects to support the business.
  2. Supporting the Senior HR Manager in Corporate led initiatives and day-to-day HR activities.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  1. Recruiting top talent by sourcing, screening, and recruiting qualified candidates for all level positions, including Director level positions.
  2. Reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, and evaluating applications for job fit.
  3. Creatng and implementing process improvements, selection tools, and best-in-class practices to improve the recruitment process.
  4. Fostering positive employee relations by providing managers with consultation and support with Performance Management activities.
  5. Resolving employee relations issues, working with managers and Sr. HR Manager.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years recruitment experience in a professional, fast-paced environment
  • 5-7 years of employee relations experience, including knowledge of employment law and affirmative action plans
  • 3 years leading training initiatives as well as HR Projects
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
