Senior Quality Technician Job

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-focused Senior Quality Technician to support our organization's quality and food safety objectives. This role will involve implementing and maintaining Quality and Food Safety Management Systems in accordance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in quality or technical roles within the food manufacturing industry, a solid understanding of BRC Global Standard and relevant regulations, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement and Maintain Quality Management Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain Quality and Food Safety Management Systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Support Production Teams: Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure daily adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of production and quality assurance.
  • Audit and Inspection: Conduct internal audits, inspections, and root cause analysis to identify and rectify any issues that may impact quality and food safety.
  • Third-Party Audits: Assist in preparing for and hosting third-party audits and customer visits to ensure a seamless experience.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in quality or technical roles within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of BRC Global Standard and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
