Job Overview

This position involves leading the technical aspects and laboratory operations of a significant service offering, technical area, or client program.

The successful candidate will provide focused technical expertise as a key scientific resource for a broad array of instrument applications including HPLC, GC, GCMS, ICPMS, KF, FTIR, dissolution.

They will act as the technical project leader or subject matter expert for multiple projects or programs, interact with clients to provide technical project updates, review and evaluate data, write reports and protocols, and provide input on regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Implement effective improvements in systems, processes, and procedures increasing productivity, quality, and technical expertise in the laboratory.
  • Share subject matter expertise with colleagues at internal training events.
  • Provide technical project management including study planning, coordination of resources, data evaluation, and client communication.
  • Lead project teams conducting complex analytical studies.

Requirements

  • Educated to a bachelor's degree level in a relevant scientific area, i.e., chemistry, biochemistry.
  • 12+ years' relevant industry experience within a GMP laboratory.
  • In-depth technical and industry knowledge in positions of technical leadership.
