Executive Construction Manager Role

About the Job

Cork County Council invites applications for inclusion on a panel from which vacancies may be filled. Positions may arise in various functional areas, including Roads, Transportation & Area Services, Capital Delivery, Asset Management & Land Development, Planning & Environment, and Housing.

As an Executive Construction Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of major and minor capital projects, manage services, and supervise staff.

Responsibilities
  • Hold at least an ordinary bachelor's degree (level 7 or higher) in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline relevant to the post.
  • Have at least five years of satisfactory experience relevant to the role after attaining the qualification.
  • Possess a high standard of technical training and experience appropriate to the post.
  • Have a satisfactory knowledge of public service organisation or the ability to acquire such knowledge.
