About Our Electrical Engineer Opportunity

Job Overview

The role of an Electrical Site Engineer is a critical position within our organization. Based wholly within the Republic of Ireland, this construction project requires a highly skilled individual to manage and implement electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing ROI electrical work protocols on site.
  • Overseeing the installation of electrical systems in alignment with civil engineering plans and specifications.
  • Managing electrical contractors, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
  • Problem Solving and addressing any electrical issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
Typical Tasks:
  • Conducting initial site surveys and setting up the electrical infrastructure for the project.
  • Direct liaison with network operators in ROI to arrange diversion, disconnection, and new connections.
  • Reviewing and interpreting drawings and understanding electrical and civil engineering principles.
  • Assisting in the procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
  • Tracking progress and reporting on any deviations from the project plan.

  • Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering principles and systems.
  • Effective project management skills to manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and contractors.
