Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Junior Data Developer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining data pipelines and transformation workflows.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in designing and implementing data extraction, reporting, and analysis using SQL queries
  • Support data modeling and optimization efforts under the guidance of senior team members
  • Help integrate data from various sources using cloud-based tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Blob Storage
  • Collaborate with analysts and engineers to understand data requirements and deliver usable datasets
  • Participate in team meetings and Agile ceremonies to stay aligned on project goals
  • Learn and apply basic programming concepts using Node.js to support data logic and automation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in data architecture, cloud technologies, and scalable systems
  • Basic proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL
  • Exposure to cloud platforms preferably Microsoft Azure and data tools
  • Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate self-motivation and discipline in learning and working
