Job Overview

Honeycomb Jobs is seeking an experienced Fundraising Projects Officer to support the growth of a highly credible UK charity.


The Charity

  • This UK-wide charity works towards 'ending harm, abuse and exploitation of older people'. With over 30 years' experience, it provides services and educates the public through a fully manned helpline and wider support services.

The Role

  1. Supporting income generation activities and special projects to develop the charity's work.
  2. Working with the Income Generation and Fundraising Lead, duties will consist of designing and delivering effective fundraising campaigns from planning to inception, targeting different audiences, and analysing performance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising campaigns, including appeals, donor journeys, social media fundraising, and community giving.
  • Produce engaging content tailored to different audiences and channels.
  • Coordinate campaign creative across email, website, social media, and advertising platforms.
  • Develop and test formats to increase supporter conversion and retention.

Collaboration and Data Management

  • Work with colleagues to create informed narrative and ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity.
  • Build and optimise email supporter journeys using CRM and email tools.
  • Track supporter engagement using Google Analytics and CRM data, feeding insights into campaign development.
  • Ensure secure handling of supporter data in line with GDPR policies.

Financial and Performance Reporting

  • Provide regular reports on fundraising activities.
  • Work closely with the Income Generation, Brand, and Policy teams to embed income generation across the organisation's fundraising strategy.

To supervise the work of any fundraising volunteers and provide them with appropriate advice and guidance.


Requirements
  • At least a year's demonstrable experience of developing and delivering digital fundraising or marketing campaigns with demonstrable results.
  • Strong knowledge of digital platforms including email marketing, paid social, and Google Ads.
  • Confidence using Google Analytics and CRM/DRM platforms.
  • An understanding of design tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar, plus Microsoft Office.
  • Experience writing persuasive content for a range of digital formats and audiences.
  • Proven experience of fundraising from trusts, foundations, and sponsored events.
  • Knowledge of a range of fundraising techniques, including local and regional fundraising.
  • Ability to research and analyse funding sources using various publications and online resources.

Awareness of data protection, supporter consent, and handling sensitive information. Commitment to inclusive communications and safeguarding vulnerable people. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
