Job Description

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee the daily operations of our Dublin properties. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery and maximizing revenue streams.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, with a proven track record in driving commercial success within the hotel or aparthotel sector. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and revenue management
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with Staycity Group brand SOPs and statutory regulations
  • Evaluate individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback through on-the-job training, performance appraisals, and team meetings
  • Develop forecasts for revenues and costs, ensuring budgetary constraints are met
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships across departments, fostering effective communication and teamwork
Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership experience in the hotel or aparthotel sector, with 3+ years in a similar role
  • Full working proficiency in English
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenues through strategic commercial initiatives
  • Humble and approachable, with a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Forward-thinking and innovative, always looking for opportunities to improve operations
  • Self-motivated and able to inspire and lead teams effectively
  • Energetic, flexible, and adaptable to changing circumstances
