Job Title: Senior Software Developer – Azure Cloud Platform

Description:
We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our agile development team in Cork, Ireland. As a senior software developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing software using the latest best practices.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about innovation and eager to work with cutting-edge technology. You will be responsible for building commercial software that simplifies and enhances the management of critical enterprise data. We leverage serverless cloud-native SaaS solutions and the latest technologies on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Your Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software using the latest best practices
- Work collaboratively with talented professionals in a highly agile SCRUM team
- Utilize state-of-the-art coding environments to build high-quality code that meets business requirements
- Take ownership of design activities for components and lead their success

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in software development
- Strong understanding of Full Stack Development – C#/.NET Core
- Experience working with Azure Kubernetes Service
- Excellent coding skills with techniques such as unit testing, mocking, automation, integration testing, and code coverage
- Strong understanding of modern software practices including design patterns, SOLID principles, coding standards, and agile software development practices
- Ability to produce and document designs and specifications for new features and services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
