In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides a support service to the site as part of the maintenance team, ensuring maintenance and repairs are carried out in compliance with relevant standards.
You will respond to emergency breakdowns across the site where an Engineering Technician is required and have knowledge of various systems, including Steam boilers, Heating hot water boilers, Chilled Water, Purified water, pre-treatment systems, Reverse osmosis, Quality critical HVAC systems, Compressed Air, chillers, cooling towers, sanitary hot water, vacuum pumps, Crac units, refrigeration systems, sprinkler systems, waste systems, and working knowledge of pumps and motor Repair equipment, machinery, and plant.
This role involves carrying out work orders generated through the CMMS system (non-urgent work jobs required by others on site) to meet service level agreements. You will liaise with clients to determine mechanical requirements and repair or offer alternative solutions.
You will also assist with the ordering of supplies as needed for work and projects. A key aspect of this role will be carrying out routine planned, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks, understanding vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing, and thermal imaging.
You will ensure documentation of maintenance activities is to cGMP standards where necessary. The ideal candidate will have formal apprenticeship experience, view problems as a challenge to generate new ideas, proactively develop customer relationships by making efforts to listen to and understand the customer, and demonstrate a diplomatic personal style in addressing customer needs.
