Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced manufacturing plant manager to oversee our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe running of our manufacturing facilities, while also driving commercial performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production/manufacturing management, ideally within precast manufacturing or heavy construction products. A third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or People Management is desirable.

The role involves leading a team of production supervisors, maintenance supervisors, and logistics teams, as well as acting as the escalation point for clients on high-profile projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing continuous improvement strategies to boost performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic thinker who can balance daily operations with long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, with strong negotiation and influencing abilities.

  • Oversee all manufacturing operations and logistics functions
  • Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, maintenance supervisors, and logistics teams
  • Act as the escalation point for clients on high-profile projects
  • Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in production/manufacturing management, preferably within precast manufacturing or heavy construction products.

A third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or People Management is desirable.
