Job Title: Clinical Healthcare Specialist

The role is based on the concept of Personal Outcome Measures, requiring flexibility and creativity in approach and working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual.

  • Develop effective relationships with families and key individuals involved with the services, as appropriate.
  • Pursue and ensure the delivery of a person-centered service through the implementation of Personal Outcomes. Be involved as a Key Worker and support other team members in their role as Key Workers.
  • Monitor outcomes and track progress.
  • Ensure compliance with HIQA standards.
  • Design and implement programmes tailored to meet the needs of individuals, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team as required.

Additionally, responsibilities include:

  • Practicing nursing according to the Code of Professional Conduct issued by the Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland and Clinical Guidelines.
  • Working within your scope of practice and maintaining competence necessary for professional practice.
  • Promoting safety, health, welfare, and social well-being of supported individuals and respecting their dignity and confidentiality.
  • Performing a full range of clinical duties relevant to your area of practice and determined by your line manager to deliver a comprehensive nursing service.
