About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Principal Data Scientist to join our growing team, driving the development of new analytic products that will transform the way we deliver care.

  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced machine learning models, leveraging deep learning techniques to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data through case studies, identifying key drivers of patterns and behaviors in the market.
  • Collaborate with local and US-based AI/ML experts to develop cutting-edge solutions, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in healthcare analytics.

This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our OptumInsight product suite, working closely with leadership teams to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in deep learning, AI, or Machine Learning at a principal level or technical leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering high-impact projects.
  • Proficiency in AI/ML and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, with a solid understanding of software development principles and practices.
