At Pale Blue Dot Recruitment Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the position of Manufacturing Process Lead. This key role will play a critical part in taking new customer projects in additive manufacturing from development through to high volume production.

The ideal candidate will possess both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to explore novel manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Owner of L-PBF capabilities in the company
  • Leading additive manufacturing specific NPI projects
  • Maintaining the area to minimum Health & Safety standards
  • Ensuring machines are in working order through ongoing PM scheduling
  • Dictating the production schedule to ensure building times meet business requirements
  • Developing a roadmap for higher volume production process flow
  • Process validation for new products and processes; VP, IQ, OQ, PQ and associated documentation
  • Participating in team meetings on timeline projects
  • Developing and providing training for manufacturing team members
  • Interfacing with Materials Science, Design and Quality Assurance departments to provide customers with quality products in a timely manner
