- Participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge and stay up-to-date with best practices in the field.\
- Use effective communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families.\
- Respond promptly and professionally to concerns or complaints raised by residents, family members, or colleagues.\
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff members to help them develop their skills and confidence.\
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions, including assessments, interventions, and progress notes.\
- Act as a key contact point for residents, family members, and other stakeholders to address queries and provide information.\

Requirements

- Hold current registration as a Staff Nurse on the register maintained by An Bord Altranais.\
- Possess RNID qualifications or other suitable nursing qualifications.\
- Demonstrate excellent communication (both verbal and written), organisational skills, flexibility, and commitment.\
- Relevant experience of working with people who have behaviours that challenge is an advantage.\
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to achieving shared goals and objectives.\
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to respond effectively to complex situations.\
- Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.\
- Ability to travel between different locations as required by the role.\
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use software applications relevant to the role.\
- Positive attitude towards lifelong learning and professional development.\
