Fund Accounting Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have experience with conducting accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.

You will perform fund/client accounting responsibilities, drive service improvement plans, target efficiencies, enhance processes, and review functions. You will also be responsible for cash and asset reconciliations related to intricate accounts or transactions within assigned funds.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and well-organized

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and moderately complex funds
  • Performs fund/client accounting responsibilities
  • Responsible for cash and asset reconciliations
  • Drafts reports for clients regarding fund performance
  • Interacts with clients in answering questions regarding fund reports and accounting processes
  • Ensures timely and accurate completion of all work within the team
  • Manages basket production workflow to service multiple clients/funds
