Event Management Position

We are seeking an experienced Event Management Professional to join our Meetings & Events team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing revenue and maximizing yield across meetings, conferences, banqueting, room hire, and F&B services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate various events including conferences, meetings, weddings, exhibitions, private dining, and product launches.
  • Respond promptly to M&E enquiries and follow up on leads to convert business.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Generate and distribute detailed function sheets to relevant departments, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Issue contracts and quotations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event client meetings and site inspections.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to analyze booking trends, denied business, and identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently, including billing, credit arrangements, contracts, and client correspondence.
  • Liaise with the Reservations team to stay informed on rates and availability.
  • Promote a proactive, sales-driven culture within the organization.
  • Support the Event Office Manager with ad-hoc projects and departmental tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hospitality sales and event coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
  • A collaborative, team-focused attitude.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a passion for precision.
