Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes using automation technologies.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on various projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and operate manufacturing systems. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for process mapping, recipe authoring, and development of MES systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes using automation technologies
  • Create and maintain recipes for MES systems
  • Collaborate with teams to design and build manufacturing systems
  • Conduct testing and change control activities related to MES system changes
  • Participate in design reviews and communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Provide technical expertise and support for ongoing development of site MES systems
  • Train relevant EBR end-users and update SOPs as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MES systems and interfaces

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in automation or manufacturing engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or similar field
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and practices within a GMP environment
  • Technical experience in delivery of MES systems/projects including design, configuration, and testing
  • Experience with Emerson Syncade within pharmaceutical API environment
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
