Job Summary

The Senior BIM Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the success of our projects by ensuring efficient and high-quality Building Information Modelling (BIM) delivery.

This position involves collaborating with internal teams and project stakeholders to coordinate complex construction projects based in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • BIM Model Development: Develop, maintain and manage 3D models and 2D drawings using BIM software.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to support project goals and objectives.
  • Model Coordination: Lead and facilitate weekly model coordination meetings to ensure clash-free and accurate models.
  • Model Quality Assurance: Detect and report model clashes using BIM coordination tools.
  • Model Sharing and Integration: Oversee incoming and shared models, ensuring accuracy and compatibility across multiple platforms.
  • Visual Content Creation: Generate visual content such as renders and technical drawings for reporting purposes.
  • Systems Coordination: Coordinate mechanical and electrical systems within the BIM environment.
  • Documentation: Deliver as-built documentation and asset information models.
  • Project Support: Support both live and tender projects with BIM input and expertise.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and quality protocols.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in BIM coordination with Revit and Navisworks.
  • Background: Strong background in mechanical or electrical services coordination.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in BIM software tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Coordination Experience: Proven track record of resolving coordination issues efficiently.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • COBie and AIM: Knowledge of producing COBie and Asset Information Models.
  • AutoCAD and 3D Visuals: Experience producing AutoCAD schematics and 3D visual content.
  • Point Cloud Data: Familiarity with working from point cloud data is advantageous.
  • ME Trades: Background in mechanical/electrical trades is a plus.
