Lead Care Specialist

The role of Lead Care Specialist involves delivering exceptional quality person-centred care in a home-like environment where residents can remain active in their social, religious, and recreational activities and connected to their family and friends.

This position requires working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm based in Monaghan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to service users by empowering persons with a disability to achieve their short-term and long-term goals while mastering their independent living skills.
  • Manage teams to deliver excellent services that meet customer needs and expectations.
Requirements:
  • Nursing Degree (Be registered in the relevant Division of the Live Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered).
  • OR Hold a Level 8 Degree in Social Care or have CORU registration.
  • AND Have at least three years managerial experience within the Health Sector.
  • Hold a recognised managerial qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

As a Lead Care Specialist, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement strategies that promote independence, choice, and empowerment for individuals with disabilities.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and make informed decisions.

They will also demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality care and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
