Job Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will be involved in tendering for construction and electrical projects across Ireland and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and collating accurate, detailed, and timely tenders based on drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and other information to secure profitable work orders.
  • Sourcing subcontractor and supplier quotations, analyzing information for ambiguity, risk, and qualification, and seeking clarification where necessary.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working as an Estimator or Electrical Engineer performing an Estimator role with a well-established general contractor.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and general IT skills.
Additional Accountabilities:
  • Maintaining electrical specification confirmations for all contracts, identifying and costing for upcharges and requesting concessions.
  • Developing key relationships with supply chain and customers/specifiers.
