Career Overview

The position of Senior Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of an organization. This includes managing the monthly and quarterly reporting process, controllership oversight, compliance, and internal audit walkthroughs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with regional teams to provide guidance on general accounting policies and procedures, particularly revenue recognition and related gross to net accounting.
  • Participate in month-end flux review calls to clarify unexpected variances or unusual accounting treatments.
  • Review new contracts for potential revenue recognition impacts and assess their alignment with organizational policies.
  • Conduct country balance sheet reviews and follow up on action items from finance and audit teams.
Compliance (ICFR program)
  • Lead annual controllership walkthroughs for all processes and market-specific controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct bi-annual control self-assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit walkthroughs, including SOX control testing activities to maintain the highest standards of integrity.
  • Oversee the statutory audit process to ensure accurate and timely completion.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in controllership, preferably in a similar industry, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles and US GAAP. They will also demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
