QA Specialist

Ensuring quality in construction projects requires meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative approach. A Junior Quality Assurance Officer plays a vital role in monitoring site activity, reporting observations, and working with various disciplines to implement quality assurance and control measures.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and execute company and client quality programs to meet project objectives.
- Audit and inspect construction activities, monitoring work progress to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Maintain robust procedures for traceability from initial order to field installation, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
- Design and maintain inspection and test plans to guarantee the highest quality outcomes.
- Identify and recommend preventative measures to mitigate potential quality issues.
- Prepare and present non-conformance reports to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Coordinate quality activities with site owner quality staff and assist in meeting client expectations.
- Review and process technical documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in maintaining project files and preparing reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Participate in on-site safety meetings and lead initiatives to promote a safe working environment.
- Experience with ISO 9000 programs is an asset.
- At least one year of work experience in a QA/QC-related role, preferably in industrial environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively.
- High attention to detail and multitasking abilities to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work towards goals and objectives with minimal daily supervision.
