Are you a skilled event coordinator looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Event and Wedding Executive to join our team at a prestigious 4-star hotel in Trim, Co. Meath.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional event and wedding experiences in one of Ireland's most scenic and sought-after venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all wedding and event enquiries from initial contact to post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless communication with clients and internal departments.
  • Conduct venue show-arounds and client meetings, offering expert advice and guidance to ensure clients have a memorable experience.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, function sheets, and event contracts, tailoring each event to meet the unique needs of clients.
  • Closely coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Kitchen, Front Office, etc.) to guarantee a high level of service delivery.
  • Ensure all events meet or exceed client expectations, maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence and providing opportunities for career growth and development.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional activities for the events department, contributing to the overall success of the hotel.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and CRM updates, using data to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a similar events, wedding, or sales coordination role in a hotel or venue setting is essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and circumstances as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience of CRM systems an advantage.
  • Living in Ireland and holding the right to work in the Republic of Ireland (ROI) is mandatory.
