Bioprocess Associate Downstream Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioprocess Associate Downstream to join our team in a large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with process equipment and work collaboratively with the operations group, project design team, CQV team, and automation/CSV reps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support ongoing manufacturing operations within the facility by commissioning and qualifying process equipment as required.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing operations group to implement project designs and validate MPCC manufacturing facilities.
  • Create operating procedures and relevant documentation for large-scale manufacturing processes.
  • Execute commercial manufacturing processes according to established work instructions.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in investigations and optimizations of processes using scientific, engineering, and lean principles.
  • Operate all production equipment within the assigned functional area.
  • Effectively utilize process automation systems and supporting business systems.
  • Assist with reviewing batch and exception reports, provide input to related investigations and QA audit activities.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of Level 6 qualification in an Engineering/Science related discipline or relevant experience in a similar regulated industry.
  • 1-3+ years' working experience in a large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
  • Experience with Delta V and MES is considered an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrate problem-solving ability, and adhere to scheduled timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional collaborative environment.
