Charlene Cooke Healthcare Recruitment Limited is a leading provider of healthcare recruitment services, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our Children's Disability Network Team, you will be responsible for providing expert occupational therapy services to children with primary intellectual disabilities, secondary physical disabilities, and/or sensory impairments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy Studies or equivalent qualification, with a minimum of three years satisfactory post-qualification experience. They will also be registered with CORU as an Occupational Therapist and have membership or eligibility for membership of the Irish Association of Occupational Therapists.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a leadership role within our team and contribute to the development of innovative practices and policies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert occupational therapy services to children with primary intellectual disabilities, secondary physical disabilities, and/or sensory impairments.
  • Work closely with families, carers, and support staff to ensure that each child receives the highest quality care and support.
  • Attend and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated goal setting and support for children and their families.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to children with disabilities.
