Job Title

A multi-skilled maintenance engineer is required for a manufacturing facility. This role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular machinery and equipment inspections to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment issues promptly.
  • Install and upgrade equipment to improve efficiency.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have served a mechatronic or electrical apprenticeship in a manufacturing setting or equivalent experience in a production environment. You should also be prepared to work and train in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum NVQ 3 in engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of maintaining plant and equipment in a high-volume production environment.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, controls, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
