Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate technical information and rational analysis to pave owners (public and private) for asphalt market development.
  • Provide technical assistance to members.
  • Facilitate member involvement by communicating issues between members and agencies regarding paving materials, techniques, specifications, and environmental regulations.
  • Represent the industry before government agencies at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Participate in affiliated industry committees and associations.
  • Develop training curricula and deliver training sessions.
  • Assist in developing technical and promotional publications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Registration as a Professional Engineer

Knowledge of pavement engineering, including mixture types, pavement thickness design, and maintenance.

Familiarity with Ohio Department of Transportation Construction & Materials Specifications.

Excellent Communication Skills

Capable of conveying technical information to non-engineers through written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
