Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies, as well as conducting reliability analysis on materials used in medical devices.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using computer-aided design software
- Conduct reliability testing on materials used in medical devices
- Provide technical support for product changes and new product manufacturing requirements
- Develop project plans from concept through feasibility, development, qualification and launch
- Manage project plans to meet established schedule and cost targets
- Prepare and approve mechanical development documentation
- Conduct verification and validation testing, and document testing results
- Review operations engineering procedures and routings for production
- Evaluate and implement improvements to product designs and manufacturing processes
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficient in computer-aided design software, such as Solidworks
- Ability to work with CAD data management software
- Experience with reliability testing methods and principles
- Understanding of design control processes and relevant medical device ISO standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
