Job Title: Head of Finance Operations

We are seeking a skilled finance professional to lead our finance operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage core finance functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and pensions, client accounts, banking, taxation, general ledger and system administration.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial processing, reporting and month-end/year-end close.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting, banking operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Build relationships with banks, auditors and external stakeholders.
  • Drive automation and process improvements across finance operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments including FP&A, Audit & Risk and Procurement.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance operations team.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure and improve financial operational performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is essential.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is essential.
  • At least 15 years post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Experience in managing shared services and driving finance transformation programs.
  • Strong ERP and systems experience (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics).
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, controls and regulatory frameworks.
  • ESG reporting and change management experience desirable.
