Job Overview

This is a great opportunity to work in a luxury hotel as a key member of the bar team. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the bar and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective product knowledge to drive menu development, upselling, and training.
  • Lead by example and motivate a large team to create a memorable luxury experience for our guests.
  • Train, guide, and mentor team members to develop and improve overall team skills.
  • Maintain and implement standardised systems, processes, and controls to ensure operational excellence.
  • Be a role model for up-selling and ensure that employees upsell at every opportunity.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a busy bar as a Hotel Bar Supervisor or Duty Manager within a 4* hotel.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage procedures/service in restaurants, bars, and at busy functions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, high standards, and ability to lead by example.
  • Ability to build, train, and retain a team, prioritise, and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and guest relation skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to learn and grow.
