Strategic Planning and Infrastructure Consenting Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious lawyer to lead our Planning & Infrastructure Consenting practice in Ireland.

This is a strategic role that requires a qualified solicitor with 5–7+ years' PQE in planning, environmental or consenting law. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on large-scale infrastructure, energy or real estate developments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on regulatory consents, planning strategy, environmental law and litigation risk. They will also lead the development of the Planning & Infrastructure Consenting practice in Ireland, collaborate with colleagues across real estate, energy, and M&A teams, and manage judicial review and regulatory enforcement processes.

In addition, the candidate will supervise junior solicitors and contribute to thought leadership in planning and environmental law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on regulatory consents, planning strategy, environmental law and litigation risk
  • Lead the development of the Planning & Infrastructure Consenting practice in Ireland
  • Collaborate with colleagues across real estate, energy, and M&A teams
  • Manage judicial review and regulatory enforcement processes

Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 5–7+ years' PQE in planning, environmental or consenting law
  • Experience advising on large-scale infrastructure, energy or real estate developments
  • Strategic thinker with a clear vision for growing a legal practice
  • Comfortable managing team members and building client relationships
