Electrical Supervisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced electrical supervisor to join our team in Cork or Dublin.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day managing of the site and electricians, ensuring smooth operations and meeting project deadlines.
  • Electrical Mechanical Containment Installation: Supervision of cable ladder, cable tray, conduits, trunking, and other first-fix electrical requirements, including bracketry according to electrical standards.
  • Glanding and Terminations: Supervision of glanding and terminations of Steel Wire Armour (SWA) and Aluminium Wire Armour (AWA) cabling, following local standards.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead and take ownership of electrical packages under tight schedule deadlines, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, informing site management of any delays, and proposing alternatives to mitigate these delays.
  • Safety: Understand the importance of safety and follow local site safety guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: 5 years' experience as an electrical supervisor or similar experience in management of large-scale, high-headcount electrical projects, ideally Pharmaceutical or Data Centre's.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand detailed electrical drawings.
  • Health and Safety: Understanding of site Health and Safety guidelines and ability to uphold and implement these guidelines with the workforce being supervised.
