Low Power Wireless Systems Characterisation Expert
2 weeks ago
We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our characterisation team in the Analog Devices Cork Design Centre. This role will involve working with a team of engineers to undertake performance measurements and silicon characterisation on Low Power Wireless System-On-Chip products.
Key Responsibilities- Definition and implementation of measurement methodologies, including test case and measurement plan generation
- Development of hardware and software elements that constitute the evaluation platform, including PCB design, circuit design, embedded software development, software for measurement control, and instrument driver development
- Execution of measurement plans with the developed platform
- SUPVISION, mentorship, and guidance to junior colleagues with their project contributions
The ideal candidate should have a degree in electronic engineering with 3+ years' measurement experience, preferably in the area of RF & Radio. They should also have strong problem-solving skills, be capable of working independently, and be familiar with precision measurement equipment and measurement techniques.
Familiarity with software in measurement control and test instrumentation management is essential, with Python being preferred but prior LabVIEW experience also considered. Experience in high-performance PCB design and layout using industry-standard tools such as Allegro or PADS would be beneficial, as well as experience designing, building, and testing circuits and modules using standard off-the-shelf components to aid in the characterisation process.
BenefitsAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and develop your skills in a dynamic environment. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
