Overview

We are seeking a skilled Building Services Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre professional to take on a management role and contribute to the success of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing mechanical and electrical services design and installation on residential projects, from initial coordination to final commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation quality of M&E systems on residential projects, ensuring programme and quality expectations are met.
  • Support site construction management teams in coordinating on-site M&E installations and assist with onsite problem solving.
  • Coordinate with project design teams as required for M&E system interfaces with architectural and structural elements.
  • Oversight of M&E sub-contractors onsite, ensuring programme and quality expectations are achieved.
  • Supplement innovation and value engineering processes by considering best-in-class mechanical / electrical systems and products.
  • Management of Temporary Electric/ water systems.

Requirements:

  • Third level education in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services.
  • 3+ years post-qualification experience in similar management role.
  • Interest in energy management and emerging trends in residential building services design and construction.
  • Trade background an advantage but not essential.
  • Focused on deadlines and committed to programme delivery.
