Job Overview

  • Our team is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our store operations department.
  • This role involves working collaboratively with fellow staff members to provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring timely and courteous interactions at all times.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining product knowledge in assigned areas of responsibility, monitoring stock levels daily/weekly, communicating proactively with trade buyers, and reporting stock outs or damaged goods promptly.
  • Additionally, this role requires compliance with security procedures regarding stock, keys, and documentation, as well as assisting with outward deliveries, ensuring accurate assembly, marking, and preparation of goods for transport.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be flexible, and have a strong knowledge of building materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipt and dispatch of goods, and report any discrepancies to the relevant authorities.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of products, including their features, benefits, and applications, to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Work closely with supervisors to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
