Special Care Worker Vacancy

We are seeking experienced and passionate individuals to join our team as Special Care Workers. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

As a Special Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing short-term, stabilising interventions in secure, therapeutic environments. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective Care and Placement Plans, promoting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each individual.

Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to social care principles and practices. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Hold a minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related field
  2. Alternatively, hold one of the listed qualifications along with 18 months' practice in the relevant field within the past five years
