Overview of the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and guiding Radiography staff in the Cardiovascular Laboratory Department.

They will manage service delivery on a day-to-day basis, adapting to a rapidly changing environment and undertaking additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the usage of 3 Cardiac Catheterisation units, ensuring correct usage by non-Radiography staff.
  • Maintain systems to guarantee optimum image quality at all times.
  • Support service development of the Cardiovascular service in Theatre Hybrid Fluoroscopy unit.

Strong relationships with Consultant Cardiologists, CNM2 Nurse Lead, CVRRE Operations Manager, Radiology Directorate Manager, Medical Physics, and Radiography Services Managers are crucial for planning and developing a high-quality professional service for patients.
