Vickerstock is partnering with a leading engineering firm to find an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental professional.
This position will focus on developing and implementing effective HSE systems and practices across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures and systems in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and relevant legislative frameworks.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective control measures.
- Provide day-to-day HSE support to teams across multiple locations, ensuring site and operational compliance with internal and external standards.
- Lead and manage incident investigations, reporting findings and driving preventive actions.
- Promote behavioural safety and contribute to continuous improvement across all areas of the business.
- Deliver toolbox talks, training sessions and inductions to employees and contractors.
- Experience in an HSE role within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment.
- Relevant Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, etc).
- Working knowledge of current HSE legislation and compliance frameworks.
- Experience implementing and managing Health & Safety systems and practices across multiple sites.
- Familiarity with regular reporting and data analysis.
