HGV Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV driver to join our operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicular Operations: Safely operate HGV vehicles in compliance with road safety regulations.
  • Logistics Management: Transport goods efficiently between designated locations.
  • Fleet Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before journeys.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations, including driver hours and tachograph requirements.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo when necessary, ensuring correct handling of goods.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to ensure smooth deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Full Clean HGV Licence essential.
  • Proven experience as an HGV driver (preferred but not essential for newly qualified drivers).
