The primary role of a Scrum Master is to facilitate Agile Scrum processes within cross-functional teams. This includes ensuring that Agile practices are effectively applied, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Agile Process Facilitation: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives with project teams.
  • Team Coaching: Guide teams and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum framework tailored to regulated environments.
  • Blocker Removal: Identify and resolve blockers that impact team productivity while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaboration Fostering: Encourage effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, IT, and Operations.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing and supporting digital systems, software platforms, or industrial control systems is required.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration, networking, databases, and cybersecurity principles is essential.
  • Proficiency with industry-specific digital tools (e.g., SCADA, MES, ERP, cloud services) is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills are necessary.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners is required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, cybersecurity) are a plus.
