You will report to the Financial Controller, joining a team of five professionals. Your duties will focus on month-end reporting, consolidating accounts, and managing audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Monthly management accounts production, including variance analysis commentary
- Assist with consolidated accounts preparation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Financial planning and analysis - assist with annual budget, forecasting, and business plan preparations
- Manage multiple audit processes
- Monitor and report on spending on capital projects, focusing on budgeting
- Assist with payroll
- Prepare and file statutory returns
- Monitor costs and overheads
- SOX compliance
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems, with the opportunity to take the lead on these projects and implement change
- Assist in ongoing ERP migration from Dynamics to Business Central
To be successful in this role, you must be a fully qualified accountant with 3+ years' experience in industry, preferably in construction, engineering, or manufacturing. You should have strong audit experience, as well as month-end experience for a couple of entities. You should be comfortable with journal postings and day-to-day accounting tasks.
Desirable Qualifications:- Experience with Business Central ERP
- Full working rights in Ireland
- A car and full driving license, as this is a rural location
An excellent opportunity to work in a busy medium-sized group, with a salary of €75,000-€90,000 depending on your level of experience. You will also receive a DC pension of 10%, 23 days' annual leave, 10% bonus, life assurance, private healthcare (valued at €2400), and income continuance.
