Quality Assurance Role

A quality-focused position has arisen in a leading food manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality control and assurance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of quality systems. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a fast-paced and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out microbiological, chemical, and physical testing in accordance with agreed programs.
  • Maintain accurate analytical records, adhering to good laboratory practices.
  • Identify and address problems, following up on out-of-specification results.
  • Evaluate and verify raw materials and finished products as required.
  • Update and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), procedures, record sheets, and quality documentation.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
  • Manage document control and participate in customer and compliance audits.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives and provide technical support to the sales team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food or Nutritional Science or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum one year's experience in a similar role.
  • High attention to detail, ability to provide accurate and consistent work.
  • Organized with effective time management skills.
  • Numerical ability to record, interpret, and analyze key process data.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools and fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Internal Auditor training completed and HACCP certification.
