We are delighted to partner with a leading aircraft leasing company in Dublin on a newly created role of Financial Accountant.
This position reports to the Finance Manager and involves a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including significant exposure to audits, accounting policy, technical accounting, and asset management reporting.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for:
- Preparation of financial statements and accounts for group
- Providing financial analysis and supporting the budgeting process
- Critical evaluation of quarterly management accounts under US GAAP and IFRS
- Making input on accounting standards and policies to be adopted
- Offering technical accounting advice on transactions
- Assisting with the management of annual audit and review of financial statements
- Managing relationships with third-party service providers
- Oversight of CSO and Central Bank reporting
- Oversight of accounting operations – AP, Tax, Treasury, and Banking
Requirements include:
- ACA/ACCA qualification (NQ-2 years PQE)
- Experience in Big 4/Top 10 financial services audit, preferably in aircraft leasing
- Strong technical accounting knowledge - IFRS, US GAAP, FRS 101 & 102
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to develop their skills in aircraft leasing finance.
