Job Title: Financial Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in legal accounting to take ownership of key financial processes and contribute to the smooth running of the organization.

This position offers flexible working arrangements and may include hybrid working options.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including meticulous tracking of client funds
  • Process daily financial transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Handle all bank payments and manage banking relationships
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation and issuance of client invoices
  • Manage accounts payable and liaise with creditors
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payments
  • Prepare and submit revenue returns, including tax, PAYE, and PRSI

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping within a professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in managing financial transactions, invoicing, and payroll
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
