Job Overview

A reliability specialist is required to join our client’s team in Co Cork. The specialist will be responsible for maintaining asset reliability and implementing maintenance strategies within the engineering department.

Responsibilities:
  • Improve asset management through technical support of the maintenance function.
  • Provide expert advice on improving equipment reliability, risk-based asset management, and cost optimization.
  • Develop solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.
  • Maintain condition-based maintenance programs such as vibration analysis and predictive analytics.
  • Analyse equipment history to ensure effective maintenance efforts.
  • Reduce maintenance work while assuring efficient operation of plant and equipment.
  • Benchmark other sites and industries for new emerging technologies and implement digital solutions.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree qualification preferably mechanical or electrical.
  • +5 years of professional experience.
  • Desirable +3 years of experience working in a similar role in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to analyse trends and patterns.
  • CMMS knowledge highly desirable.
