We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our hotel team.

Job Description

The Hotel Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests during their stay. This role requires strong communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and implement 4-star standards of service at all times.
  • Provide professional and courteous interactions with all customers (internal & external).
  • Promote in-depth knowledge of accommodation services and hotel amenities.
  • Maintain adherence to all hygiene regulations.
  • Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, and Employment.
  • Report to duty on time, wearing correct uniform and name badge.
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
  • Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Offer information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality.
  • Manage reservations and cancellations accurately.
  • Process payments and maintain guest accounts.
  • Ensure front desk area cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist with administrative tasks.
  • Take restaurant reservations.
  • Prepare menus on time.
  • Upsell rooms and facilities.
  • Collaborate with other staff to ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions.
  • Follow safety and security protocols.
  • Handle cash and lodgements responsibly.
  • Create a positive first impression and ensure guest satisfaction.
