Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide specialist Occupational Therapy services to children and young people with complex disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and treatment planning for children and young people with complex disabilities
  • Delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy interventions, including advice and education for children, families, and carers
  • Working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach to care
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans, including setting appropriate goals and objectives
  • Providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff members
  • Participating in service development and quality improvement activities
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent, CORU registration or eligibility to register with CORU, and a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with paediatrics and experience working with children with complex disabilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in clinical supervision and leadership
