Food Safety Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Specialist to fill this key position.

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing food safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and audits, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and Implement Food Safety Guidelines: Develop comprehensive food safety protocols in line with company standards and external regulations.
  • Conduct Inspections and Audits: Regularly inspect facilities and conduct audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
  • Maintain Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to communicate and collaborate on food safety initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Food Science or an equivalent field is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in food safety or a related field is essential.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and quality management systems.
  • Abilities: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
