This role involves a senior-level position with significant responsibility for promoting a positive health and safety culture in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote and maintain a healthy and safe working environment through proactive monitoring of systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices related to occupational health and safety.
- Contribute to pre-tender submissions and client meetings as required.
- Monitor and review regular site performance through inspections and audits.
- Collaborate with external auditors and inspectors on behalf of the organization.
- Develop and deliver effective health and safety training programs.
- Liaise with external stakeholders to promote the organization's health and safety initiatives.
- Degree-level qualification in Health and Safety or equivalent with extensive experience in the field.
- A minimum of 4+ years' experience in a similar health and safety role within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation, Standards, and Best Practices in the construction industry in Ireland.
- Expert understanding of Health and Safety statutory requirements, systems, and processes.
- Previous experience in completing Risk Management, Site Inspections, and Investigations.
